Many people don't even try to save their marriage and let it fall apart in front of their eyes. They are not as self-sacrificing and altruistic as you are. Firstly you need to make sure that you do not perform any desperate actions such as begging, crying and apologizing endlessly. If you have already started you need to stop right away! I know that they can be tempting to do, especially if everything else you have tried does not work. However, they don't do anything to help the situation, and in fact they might make things worse as your spouse will get fed up of your actions.
So you should do the opposite of this. Instead of begging for forgiveness you should actually play hard to get. The reason for doing this is that people always want the things that they cannot have. You are doing nothing beneficial if you beg your spouse.
Be wary of the actions you take to save your marriage. Do your best to avoid any kind of impulsive actions. However, you should try to be more elusive to your spouse and unless you realize the importance of this you won't be able to make much progress. Just remember that people always want the things that they cannot have!
